Statement from Stephanie Murphy:
“I’m proud to receive Barack Obama’s support in my campaign for change, security, and equality,” said Murphy. “In order to change Washington, we need to bring new voices to Congress. I’m fighting to strengthen our middle class, raise wages for American families, pass commonsense gun safety reform, and welcome a new prosperity for all Americans. I thank Barack Obama for his continual support of my campaign, and look forward to working in a bipartisan manner to bring change to Congress.”
Murphy is running for Congress in Florida’s Seventh Congressional District, which includes all of Seminole County and northern Orange County, including Winter Park and much of downtown Orlando.
To change Washington, we need a new approach.
That’s why we need Stephanie Murphy.
Her story could only happen in America.
Her family fled communist Vietnam by boat – when Stephanie was only a baby – and were rescued by the U.S. Navy.
She worked hard. And after nine-eleven, Murphy became a recognized, national security specialist at the Department of Defense.
She’ll tackle the toughest problems head on.
Please join me in supporting Stephanie Murphy for Congress.
I’m Stephanie Murphy and I approve this message.
